Hello Montana!

I hope everyone is excited for the upcoming holiday season and looking forward to some rest and relaxation over the impending break times!

Some updates from this year's AIMHO Regional Conference in Las Vegas, NV!

Let’s all give a massive CONGRATULATIONS to Maureen Ward who is the new President Elect of AIMHO!!! Mo was confirmed by general consent at the Business Meeting during the Conference and accepted the President Elect mascot, Stoney, at the Closing Banquet.  Another massive CONGRATULATIONS to Shaydean Saye, as she was awarded Committee Member of the Year for her work with AIMHO 365 at the Closing Reception on Tuesday evening!!! We also should say THANK YOU to those Montana Folks who completed their time in AIMHO Executive Board Positions, including Jeff Rosenberry who completed his term as Past President and ACUHO-I Foundation Rep and David Adderholt who completed his term as Entry Level Member-at-Large Representative.

Upcoming AIMHO and Montana Conference Dates:

The hatchet was officially passed on from the UNLV Host Committee to the Committee Co-Chairs from Arizona State University for AIMHO 2018.  Conference dates are November 13-15th, 2018 and more information will be coming to us from the ASU Team throughout the upcoming year.  In other AIMHO Conference news, the University of Utah was selected to host the 2019 AIMHO Conference in Salt Lake City and RAPPIN’ 2019 will be hosted at the University of Wyoming!

As for the state of Montana, those in attendance (Rocky Mountain College, Montana State University-Bozeman, University of Providence, and Carroll College) met up and set some dates for upcoming state-wide opportunities for Professional and Student Staff Development.  As most of you know, the 2018 Student Staff Drive-In Conference is being held at MSU – Billings, February 9-10, 2018 and the 2019 Conference will be at Carroll College in Helena.  Further, University of Providence offered to host the Pro Staff Drive In this summer in Great Falls on July 13, 2018.

I hope to see everyone at some of the upcoming conferences!
