2018 RAppin Conference

But, that’s not the only trick up our sleeve. Boise is nestled a quick road trip away from a handful of beautiful forests and mountain ranges and is the bustling, vibrant, heart of a state full of wilderness. With over 4,000 acres of open space, over 100 parks, 17 museums, and dozens upon dozens of local shops and eateries, Boise is nothing short of an urban breath of fresh air. Here on campus, you are just a stroll across a bridge from our booming downtown filled with fantastic food, superb shopping, and a uniquely rich culture that can only be found in Boise.

We love our campus. It's beautiful in any season, any time of year. We also love everything on and around campus. The 25 mile Greenbelt? It's our backyard. The Blue? We're neighbors. The Quad? Walks through here in the summer make us oh, so happy.

Us Boiseans sure do love our food. No matter where you are, you can find some of our favorite spots to eat, and the options are endless. From a quick taco run to more upscale, local, eateries, just about everyone can be satisfied with Boise’s amazing food scene.

Boise is the ideal place to be if you want to get out and explore. Our beloved Table Rock overlooks the city and is our favorite spot for a weekend drive or hike. There are dozens more places to explore in the outdoors around Boise, each allowing us to appreciate the city's beauty.

We're so happy to host you!

As a burgeoning metropolitan doctoral research university, Boise State is proud to call the Treasure Valley HOME. Housing and Residence Life is one of many departments on campus at Boise State that are striving toward excellence in all areas, and your visit is helping us to achieve that goal! We are very excited to have you on our beautiful campus, and cannot wait to welcome you into Bronco Nation.
