wikiAIMHO is a online community intended for discussions, file exchange, asynchronise meetings, and much, much more! We encourage you to create a profile so that other members can get to know you and learn from you. We also invite you to create or join a "wikispace". Current spaces are listed to the left in the Navigation bar. Each of these pages has it least minimal content authored by the administrators, but you can add more. We look forward to your contribution to these wikis and the creation of many more. What is a "wiki"? A wiki is a collection of pages within wikiAIMHO. Each wiki is an autonomous area of wikiAIMHO with it's own navigation bar and members. Wikis are great for larger thematic collections of resources and discussions. If you have a completely new area of dicussion and research you'd like the association to develop creating a new wiki might be the right choice. What is a "page"? Pages exists within a specific wiki. If you want to expand the discussion about or archive materials relevant to a particular topic that already has it's own wiki creating a new page is the way to go. How To's What wikis exist on wikiAIMHO? In the left hand navigation bar you can see what wikis currently exist. These wikis have been created to give each committee a place to communicate and work collaboratively. Every member of AIMHO is welcome to create additional wikis and we encourage you to do that. Please set the permissions such that anyone with a wikiAIMHO account can view and edit the space. How do I make a new Wiki or Page? In the upper left hand corner of your screen - under the AIMHO logo - you can select Make a New Wiki or New Page. These links provide any member the chance to create a wiki or page. Why should I contribute to wikiAIMHO? wikiAIMHO exists for three main reasons: 1.to ensure continued collaboration and conversation beyond the annual conference on a wide variety of issues; 2.to provide all members regardless of institutional size, personal experience, and formal involvment a resource and outlet to all of AIMHO; and 3.to reinforce the idea that the wisdom and value of this association exists in it's membership and in our ability to stay connected, informed, and collaborate throughout the year.
