2003 was the inaugural year for the AIMHO College. I have had the opportunity to attend and work with its development since then. The choice I made to participate in the College was one of the best decisions I have made as a “new professional.”

The AIMHO College exposes its participants to several different areas of what we do in Residence Life. AIMHO College provides a learning environment for not only the “students’ but also the invited “faculty” (who are current housing professionals). Through informal dialogue and conversation, everyone learns from one another and about trends, similarities, and differences within the region.

The rewards for attending are endless but I have put together the top 10 reasons I think new professionals should to apply to be a part of the 2005 AIMHO Class:
