AIMHO Core Values

Students are at the center of our professional practice.

AIMHO actively includes and involves all interested members in its programs, committees and leadership of the region.

AIMHO is committed to social justice and responsible citizenship in our programs and practice.

AIMHO employs data informed leadership to advance our association, members and the profession

Welcome to the Association of Intermountain Housing Officers website.  We are excited for you to peruse the website in hopes that it will connect you to your colleagues, challenge you to grow through serving on a committee and encourage you to participate at our annual conference.

Here are a couple of initiatives for this year

Engage the region in AIMHO... have you taken part in an AIMHO 365 webinar, followed the AIMHO twitter feed, checked out the Facebook page, followed threads on the AIMHO listserv or the SHO listserv, or spent some time on this website?  These are resources for you to use in connecting with colleagues in the region.

Implement Your Membership... this is a site that will allow us to develop a regional membership database, establish registration and payment for conferences and meetings in the region, take payment for membership dues, and be the platform for our regional listserv.

Plan a 60th anniversary party... that is right, AIMHO is 60 years old.  The celebration will take place at the 2015 annual conference in Tuscon, Arizona November 15-17.

Your voice matters.  If you have a suggestion, question, or issue that you would like for AIMHO to look at, please do not hesitate to send me an email at BRemsburg@housing.utah.edu.

We know that our colleagues are our greatest strength, and together, we will continue to build an amazing Association!

When the story of these times gets written, we want it to say that we did all we could, and it was more than anyone could have imaged. -Bono
